Will County welcomes Dr. Joe M. George who recently joined Dr. Mukund Komanduri's practice in Joliet, Illinois.
Academic History/Residency & Fellowships
Dr. George is experienced and trained in foot and ankle surgery after
completing a three-year podiatric medicine and surgical residency. He
has had extensive training both in the US and Europe in foot and ankle
trauma as well as reconstruction. He looks forward to working with
all of the physicians in the Will County region to manage the flux of
complex foot and ankle pathology. Dr. George will be available to
assist or manage any complex forefoot or hind foot pathology and will
be more than willing to refer back any patient after their recovery
from injury.
Dr. George was raised in Gurnee, Illinois and attended Carmel High School, University of Illinois in Chicago and received his podiatric medical degree from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and Science at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. George then completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at the Westside Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Chicago. He also completed a fellowship in foot and ankle trauma and reconstructive surgery in Germany.
